Pallets, used primarily to ship and store goods, are often breaking down by the time they’re thrown out. However, there’s plenty of life still left to them at that point if one is willing to look underneath the layers of age and grime.

The Journey

Pallets can be made of several wood species, but are most commonly made out of Oak and Pine. To make our frames, we first create thicker material by laminating two or more layers of pallet wood together. Frames are usually made Oak-side facing up, as Oak generally has a more interesting grain pattern.

The grain patterns, nail holes and rust marks leave behind a beautiful rustic image that ensures no two pieces are ever the same.

Hand-made frame features

  • Available layouts: Portrait and Landscape
  • All frames provide both table-top (by using the included peg(s)) and wall-mounted options
  • Fully recessed hardware: when hanging the frame on a wall (using the keyhole notches), all sides will sit flush with the wall and do not protrude. The peg(s) are stored in the back while mounted.
